Orana 44: Status of Fernandina Beach Marina?

Looking for recent experience with visiting that area in north Florida - Active Captain info that I have is dated....

Anyone been there recently that can give me a quick synopsis of facilities (mooring balls, dinghy dock, marina, shops)? We were there several years ago but never got off the boat due to the disrepair of the marina.

they were starting work on the marina a few months ago

Just went by there the other day...most of the long face dock has been removed, the office is in disrepair, some balls are there but there are a lot missing and they are charging to land your dink...I emailed them just before we went by and got a quick reply they hope to be up and running by the end of the summer....did not see any sign of new construction as yet but could easily have missed it....
