which downwind sail for a saba 50

Hello all new friends to come.
I am the lucky new co-owner of an fantastic saba 50. She has Unfortunately not been given the tlc she should have in her charterterlife. the genakker is a total mess, and will not fly us anywhere. Just bought a new main, but still need a new proper downwind sail.
We are absolutely novices with catsailing, or sailing at all, so please good folks of wisdom,- what woulkd be the best choise on a boat like this.
we prefer easy handling over speed.
this flying big balloon kind of sails looks really cool, and efficient . are they suitable for a boat like this? Symmetric/Asymmetric? ok to handle short handed by no(yet) experts? what sail will cover the most situations on a cruising passage. We are not into regatta, just cruising into the sunset of our new crusing lifestyle.
best of all

Re: which downwind sail for a saba 50

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Ted.

Generally a roller furling/REEFING headsail is easiest to use, and most versatile; however, not inexpensive.
