'09 West Wight Potter 19 - IMMACULATE!!! - $10.9k obo

OK!!!

Here we go again ! ! !

Another of Happy's fleet has hit the auction block... You'd think I'd be flush with cash, but I spent all of the Morgan money on hookers and Mai Tais...
(or light bills, loans, groceries, and gas... )

Without Further Ado...

Up for sale is Kanaloa, one of the more popular and famous WWP 19's on the internet!

You cannot search google without running into one of the many photos of the previous owner enjoying her immensely... Poor girl got hit by lightning on a storage rack and that is how I acquired her… Damage was light, and she has been professionally restored to her previous glory… IN FACT… She has been upgraded in many areas!

There is the usual WWP Premium package and goodies, but here are the few major upgrades:

-Replaced the crap 4 switch panel with fuses to a 6 switch panel with BREAKERS

-Replaced ALL wiring and connectors behind the panel

-Built a “flip down” distribution panel, clearly labeled and organized… NO MORE crawling into the starboard cabinet chasing a crap wire piercing connector for ground or power problem. These have no business being on a boat.

-New Guest 12A dual battery charger

-LED lighting

-Digital illuminated dual battery voltage gauges (switched) that draw only 50ma

-New Pyle sound system with bluetooth connection. Run your tunes from your phone or tablet if you want!

-All bilge spaces painted gloss white, Keel latch pads made from 1708 Biax/Epoxy

She is immaculate inside and out, and MIRROR GLOSSY!!! Owning her will guarantee that every SINGLE person that walks by her will comment on how beautiful she is, and what great shape she’s in. I have to credit the previous owner for taking care of her so well…

Additional upgrades from standard are a Garmin GPSmap that unfortunately will not boot up. BUT… She’s equipped with depth transducer, satellite GPS antenna, and wired to the cockpit for an auto-tiller-pilot.

Currently slipped at Aquayacht Harbor, Pickwick lake, close to the AL-MS-TN borders I’m offering her for a quick sale at $10.9k obo. Give me a call, she won’t last long!

Man, that color looks hard to match!

There's you a comment. You're selling outside of my budget but you take great care of your boats.

Imma have to ask the rest of the mods if they think it's OK to use "ass" in a post... I'll get back to you on that one...

For you my good man... I would consider discretionary financing... Full service deal with prepared story statement of approved facts for the wifey... Like:

- He ran out of room so we're storing it for him
- He doesn't have time to test the boat systems
- He wants me to sail it around and show it off for him

And thanks on the condition... I started with a diamond in the rough... I knew she would turn out pretty good... (excluding any hammer dents of frustration or 2" diameter holes minaret made me put in her for a color match chip)

Aww man.... That's a shame about the Morgan... Sure would have loved for you to have her !!!

I was even crazier busy when she sold than I am now, and I have adjusted my profile list accordingly...

Thank ya on the yeller boat... somebody is going to love her...
(hopefully verrrrrrry soon!)

Try posting a listing in your local West marine, Dockside Bulletin Boards, etc. It's sometimes a local buyer who's been admiring your boat from afar, that is'nt on CF or reading the Boat for Sale websites that's your buyer.

Looks like you dialed in that color match in the end...

HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Closest WM is in Nashville 160 NM @ 30T... Indeed the local buyer thing is a bonus... I'mma figure out some way to get the word out... Was going to put it at a place with lots of car traffic... But I'm kinda havin' too much fun with it slipped next to me...

In the end I'm happy... and it was all me... 25% PITA yellow from GCP, 75% Chromium(ish) from Express Comp... 30% duratec on base coats, 50% on top blend coats... It's not perfect, but darn good... The gel on the boat is like 10 mils with a carbon hull... Impossibru for all except for the guru himself...

I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOUR HELP!!!

And I swear I didn't have one tiny little bad thought glassing that 2" color match plug back in...

Ah, the duratec blend trick. Nice job! I bet I couldn't have done any better. Yellow is a bitch!

Thanks minman... Honestly, I am absolutely elated with the fairing and finish... Definitely a pro worthy job... With the blending I'm sure your zillions of hours of expertise would blend slightly better... I had to make compromises because of the UBER thin gel, 15 different mix nuances, and base black... It was like trying to catch a tiger by the tail... 1-2 foot patches were growing exponentially... NOBODY however (cept you) would pick out the spots from 5'... That I call success !!!
