True but BBB will last many lifetimes, stay in a pile unmoved by seas, and runs smooth off the gypsy. Only downside besides price is weight; but then in a hurricane hole, you want that weight. We still used a kettle with it.

BTW, if you want to see how tough hot dip is, go look at any old CQR anchors. Most have never been redipped and most are probably 40-60 years old.

Come on guys, play nice.
It's pretty well known that the Acco chain as of late seem to suffer form poor galvanizing, or at least quite a few have reported it. I have 1/2 barrel of Acco G4 myself, it has not yet started rusting, but the amount of zinc flakes that come off of it every time I anchor suggest it's a matter of time
