1970 Columbia MK2

1970 Columbia MK2

Hello, I have an amazing 1970 Columbia MK2 sailboat for sale. This has been an amazing boat. I have recently (January 20th to April 6th) taken "Survivor" on a Bohemian Expedition. She is a very capable Bluewater boat for her size. The boat only Drafts 4 1/2 Feet, which is nice to so you can get right up to those islands. There are MANY new items for this boat.

Things that go with the boat with purchase:

Yamaha 9.9 HighThrust outboard, with the lower gears to push heavy boats. Has about 40 hours on it, and pushes the boat about 6 knots. Has Remote Throttle and gear select.
St1000 AutoPilot
GpsMap 76 Chartplotter. Comes with the Near bahamas chart kit.
New standard Horizon VHF.
Daphon folding bike
9 foot WaterTender Dinghy. Plastic boat, It was punctured by a conch shell, but was fixed. Not pretty, but its watertight. only about a one inch patch.
4 chart books.
Has Mainsail, 2 jibs, 1 gennoa, (has a small rip. im not sure if it can be replaced) and a Spiniker
2 brand new batteries.

The boat could use some paint and some TLC, or use it as is.
Needs a few minor things repaired, But it is Sailable as is!!!!!!!

Picture of Engine- That was the old 2 stroke bracket. There is a Newer Stronger 4 Stroke Bracket.
Also, Not many Sailboats have a swim platform!!!! comes in handy!!

6000 or best offer!
Will trade for a Decent Motorhome, Equal Value. Class a preferred, but let me know what you have!

Re: 1970 Columbia MK2

Ha! i forgot to put the size. Yes, it is a 26 footer, and the beam is 8 foot 6 inches.
Also the engine has Electric tilt and Electric Start. There is also 120 watts of solar that "could" go with the boat if the price is right. They where never mounted, I used bunggee cords to hold them down over the companion way hatch. in high wind, or if i leave the boat for to long, i brought them inside. Works out well.
