For Sale: 1972 Aquarius 23

Up for sale with original trailer is my Aquarius. With a swing keel and cassette style rudder that sits in the cockpit it's a heck of a boat for its length. A 8.5 foot beam it has stability and room down below. Can comfortably sleep 4 adults on a weekend sail. I hate to sell my first sailboat but I have no where to keep her since the past two years with all the changes going on. The front hatch has been replaced from the original hatch. It has a lewmar hatch that is sealed dry. Unfortunately right now it has a little water in it and it froze because the companion way hatch bords are original and need the bottom one redone and I left the hatch open on mistake for the past few months for not being around her. My loss your gain for a great trailer sailer.

I also have a 9.8 merc outboard I believe just could use new points and a condenser. I forget the year for it at the moment. 200 for my CF friends. I have rewired it to get it to run it just does not run at WOT speed.

500 obo for the boat. Has a 120 Genoa on a roller furling, a main that I'd say is good for on the lakes. Nothing else but the trailer that I can think of.

Great boat ! sailed it in the gulf and on lakes .

Not really a bigger boat....a smaller place and nowhere to keep her. Was a nice and stable boat on the lake for her size.

That is definitely a steal for a really great little boat. Very solid, stable and roomy for a 23 footer. Love being able to get ours into really skinny water, and even beach it occasionally. Draws virtually nothing with the rudder and keel up Too bad you have to let it go. There's an active owners group on Yahoo groups that you also may want to post it on. I bet the trailer alone would fetch more than $500 over there..

And she has been sold... after 2 years trying to find a home. Hopefully I'll see her on my lake with the new owners having a good time on her.
