For Sale: 1979 O'day

I have a nice 1979 O'day sailboat for sale. It is a center-board model that will raise to 21/2' and drop to the maximum of 41/2'(rough estimates). Tiller steer with Evindrude outboard 2 stroke. Large v-berth sleeps 1-2 people and settee pulls out to sleep 2. Starboard quarter berth has slide out sink and storage,port quarter berth has pull out shelving and additional storage under both aft berths. Fold down table in main cabin,and private head with pump-out option. Amazing amount of storage completes cabin. Sails a in good to very good condition. Neil Pryde sails along with Schaffer roller. Head sail is a hank on, furling is on board,never used it. I built a gin pole to raise/lower mast,makes life so much easier. Comes with tandem axle trailer,bearings just greased last spring. Trailer has current registration (Mn.) and ready to go. Reason for selling is we bought a larger boat. We hate to see "North Wind" go, time to graduate to bigger things and farther horizons. Will sell for $3800. She was what we learned to sail on here on Lake of the Woods and Leech Lake, she is very safe and forgiving. Sorry, after proof-reading I see I missed something. She is a 23' boat. Delivery is available @ $2.00/loaded mile.

Good morning. Here are the pictures as promised. Your timing, or perhaps mine, is good. I have made arrangements with hooper yachts @ Afton,Mn. to shrink wrap and also sell our boat. If you guys decide to look at her, it would be a lot shorter for you to look there. They told me that they would have no problem selling her at that price. She is a real good boat, as I said, what Camie and I learned on. We are going to retire soon, and need a bigger boat for our plans. That is the only reason for selling. The evinrude 2 stroke is on the wall,it is winterized. I am going to install a new water pump,I don't feel the one in works good enough. Please let me know if you need more info or talk to me.
