Apparently we can deduce the price by this post, and of course we can picture your boat telepathically, right?

I do not understand this persistent posting of available boats without pricing or pictures. Come on everyone, you ain't selling widgets that are not unique, your selling a multi-thousand dollar item.

Re: 1986 Hunter 23

webone, I don't intend to come across as cranky, as I am not. Hence the

However, there are many postings that list a boat for sail, with no price and no pictures.

It's tough to deduce if one is interested or not, as the price may not be in the range a prospective buyer is thinking, plus without pictures, how can one know if the preliminary condition of a boat is inline with pricing?

I really am only trying to help.

Your pricing may get you some responses

Re: 1986 Hunter 23

I'm in the process of looking for a boat. I've looked at tons of ads....daily. If I see an ad that has no price, pictures, or details, I close it and move on. If the poster can't be bothered to place a nice ad with details, pictures and prices, that tells me the seller probably doesn't take very good care of the boat.

Not implying anything to the OP....just sayin....trying to help you....from someone who is looking.

I am new to forum and the process for posting pics to the ad is elusive. Can email pics if you are serious. Of course if you are serious you will do a little digging.

Re: 1986 Hunter 23

O.K. avb It appears to me that "This particular thread" started with post #1(scroll up and look in top right hand corner of the post). There you will see a cute little "#1". If I am not mistaken (could be?). THAT is the "original post" or in other words, "The beginning of THIS thread". Now, if a person can submit a post and then go back later and edit it...
(add or change something) then I stand corrected, but I really don't think so. Now on my screen the original post says,... First $5000.00, not sure about yours. I kinda look at classified ads like "fishin" Sometimes we don't have a lot of time and we'll just pitch a lure out a couple of times and see if we get a bite. Other times, we go all out, different baits, different presentations, on and on... Personally, I've "caught fish" before with no lure at all, just a bare hook. If I were looking for a small Hunter at a good price, webones' "original post" would entice a strike(PM or the like) from me for more details... just trying to help
