Please give us a quick call at 715-779-5757. Too many details to list here. Husband knows more than I do.

Re: 2 Sailboats

Both boats are located in Bayfield, Wi. Pacific Seacraft with custom trailer is $59,900 1992 in EXCELLENT condition. Husband is a perfectionist. Frances was bought as a hull and husband put teakwood deck on it and was just about to finish the interior. Also has custom trailer. No price yet as we have to add everything up on that one. Would like people to call. This decision to sell both was JUST made.

Re: 2 Sailboats

Man, this has to be the worst attempt at selling a boat I have seen, and there have been some bad ones.

Maybe the OP knows how to answer the question, "How long is a piece of string?" as that would give one as much information as this does.

Re: 2 Sailboats

You are right. Sorry, I am just the wife and my husband has not even seen the posts yet. Have several interested persons that have responded with calling us. Nothing wrong with that. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Hi Thimbleberry,

You appear to be new to the Cruisers Forum so perhaps are not aware of the nature of the forum and the reason for some of the replies.

Cruiser's Forum is very international with members literally world wide: Australia, New Zealand, Asia, all over Europe, etc. So when an offer to sell an item is posted, especially something like a boat that doesn't fit too well in a UPS package , at the very least the location is somewhat important.

Then, as mentioned, at least some basics of the boat: age, condition and at least a ball park price is necessary for anyone potentially interested to decide if this is in their range. There are members on the forum with very expensive boats and members that live on fixer uppers that the got for nothing.

As you can understand, a for sale ad without some basic details to start the process will probably not get you far.

Hope this is helpful and welcome to the forum.

Re: 2 Sailboats

The Pacific Seacraft/Dana 24 looks like quite a nice little blue water boat. I assume this review is about the same boat the OP is talking about:

Re: 2 Sailboats

Agreed and that's why some details and even better photos would be so very nice.
