For Sale: 27' Aluminum Sailboat

Sweet little cruising boat set up for one or two in need of a new owner. French designed and built called a Metalu Flot 18 built in 1978. Cruised singlehanded from France to San Juan Islands (Pacific Northwest) then singlehanded around Vancouver Island. 27'x9'x5'2", Ruggerini 9hp diesel, Dickinson diesel cabin heater, Navik vane, Tiller pilot, Plastimo roller furling, numerous sails, etc. Sails great, competitive in local races, completely insulated and dry inside. Bottom recently stripped and barrier coated, no hull corrosion anywhere! We're having our east coast boat transported overland back here in two weeks. We can easily put this boat on the same truck back to east coast for a reasonable price. $16,000 OBO.
