2XThoosa 9000 electric drives

Removed from a catamaran comes 2 48V drives with engine mounts, controllers, throttles and rest of the works. Asking $1000 for a quick sale.

Re: 2XThoosa 9000 electric drives

That sounds like a great deal Balder, though the postage out to Aussie would be a killer... Obviously electric drives didn't work out for you. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts and reason for going back to diesel, given I'd love to go from diesel to electric on my 40 foot mono. Cheers.

Never tried the system, just bought the boat.
Got in contact with the dealer and was quoted $17000 ''to get the system up to date''.6 years old that sounded like a rip of to me, so I wasn't interested in dealing with that company.

Re: 2XThoosa 9000 electric drives

I agree with you that it is exorbitant to have to pay that much for equipment just 6 years old!
I guess, somebody that has a similar system could buy your system for parts that would be worth it!
But I have nothing yet so I would be in the same situation than you .. tnx for the info! And good luck finding somebody that needs your system, I am sure you will find someone
