30-50' Sailboat required for Creating DREAMS!!

Well If one does not ask, one can not received. Ask and put ones intentions into the universe, and magic can happen.

My Name is Craig G. Lewis, from the island of Newfoundland, Canada.

I'm a ex Naval Weapons Tech, that served in the Canadian and Royal Austrian Navies. Before the navy, I was a Sea Cadet and this is where I started to sail with Tasers.

While serving in the RAN I complete a Competent Crew Course.

Back in 2003 I purchase a 26' Catalina and resold a few years later. Big regret.

Well after spending 10 years in the oil and Gas industry as a ROV Pilot Tech, then finding my way back to a land job, being self employed as a home renovator, it's time that I get back on the water.

The Plan

To get a 30-50' sailboat (A schooner would be fantastic) and start a charter service/pleasure cruising service and make our way around the world.

Beside the charter service, I will be looking at doing small jobs (Mechanical/electrical/maintenance/ etc) for others.

I'm also learning online trading and will have several online businesses.

It be great to have a cause or foundation to work with.

IDEAS
Wiper Blade Fundraising (School and Charity Fundraising)
Box it Up Foundation (Providing clothing)
From Shore to Shore (Providing supplies)

I am also looking for a partner/soulmate to help make both our dreams real.

Maybe you have a boat already, and only need a good and handy man on board.

So if you, or someone that you know, has a boat and thinking about selling it, them maybe gifting it forward is a better choice. You will always have a space to call yours With my knowledge, I can easily maintainer and take care of her.

Time to take the second half of life to the seas.

Cheers,
Craig

Re: 30-50' Sailboat required for Creating DREAMS!!

There is a huge difference between a 30 and 50 foot sailboat. One is a pocket sailor and one is a large money hungry boat that you can fill with 20 people for a day.

Living on a 30 footer is minimalist to say the least. Though very do-able.
Living on a 50 footer will include ridiculous things like washing machines, tool rooms, water making systems and much much more. I really suggest you get out on a few more more boats before making your decision.
