Re: 32' Sailing Yacht Jouet 950

I do not understand it ether if the boat was in Europe it would be a different story. I have spend 25K for the refit all documented and selling below the refit cost.

Just bad timing, I am afraid. This boat market is very bad for sellers right now.

Is the Volvo 2002 fresh water cooled? If it is you should make that clear, because that engine was sold with FWC cooling as an option. The engine has a bad reputation which I believe is the result of problems with the raw water cooled versions.

Re: 32' Sailing Yacht Jouet 950

I never had any problems with the engine. And all the boats that I have sailed in Europe when I lived there had Volvo engines. I do not recall any problem.

Re: 32' Sailing Yacht Jouet 950

If your boat is still for sale at the end of March, I'll take it provided I can get rid of a few motorcycles, airstream, wwp-19 or any combo Seriously, I could not take possession earlier than the end of March, May would work best for me. Looking for a live-aboard but under contract here in Co. (teacher) till the end of May, but spring break is end of March. Understand you need to get rid of her asap, just thought I'd let you know a serious buyer (me) is just around the corner, hope that will give you some encouragement. Keep me in mind if you are unable to close before then. Cheers.

Hi Dolfin, nice boat. Do you know if it is EU VAT paid, and if so do you have an original invoice?

I think this boat offers the most room as 32 feet boats go and is one of the fastest 32 footers as well.

Yes, but the raw water cooled versions of the Volvo 2002 have been very problematical, at least here in the US, according to a knowledgable Volvo mechanic.

So if your engine is FWC, I think it would be to your advantage to make that clear.

Just look at the photos it's raw water cooled. I have the single cyl version, Volvo 2001.

But all the same nice boat and I would love to have it.
