I owned a Charlie Morgan Classic 34 for 16 years and cruised it all up and down the east coast. Great boat. You should be able to pick up an unimproved boat for about 12K. With new sails, dodger, motor and all the fixin's should run you about 35K and you would have the ultimate south florida cruiser. If you could find a classic 41 you would be in heaven. I could actually point the boat by walking around the deck. So well balanced and a super skinny water center boarder. Hard to find a 41 tho. Not the out island- get the true classic.

I have a 33' Morgan Outisland on the Chesapeake. Engine runs great. Clean. Recommissioned in March. Topside traction areas repainted, new fuel polishing system. Many good features. It's ready to cruise to Florida or the Carribean. This was always a privately owned boat never a charter. Room to live aboard. Wife passed away and time to sell. Pics are available.
