Good luck on selling your cat.

My first mate didn't want to do a circumnavigation unless it was on a cat. It was only level sailing for her. So we got a cat.

Re: 38ft catamaran Trade for a monohull

looks like you found your bargain multi you were scouring N America for last year.

sorry it hasn't worked out or whatever. I have a customer that might be interested in the boat, but he was hoping for something with a lower bridge clearance than this boat likely has.

Keep us posted.

Re: 38ft catamaran Trade for a monohull

We have had a really nice time so far but my girlfriend seems to want a monohull instead. Something a little bit more cozy. This is a nice boat. It needs a little TLC, but hey...it's not a 250k catamaran. It has some scratches here and there.

The boat has new standing rigging (2010), autopilot (2011), windlass (2010), 180ft chain (2012), new upholstry in saloon (2012). New saildrive-disks (2012 & 2011), waterpumps for engines (2011), Trampolines (2010) 45 Amp MPPT for solar panels, and more...

I want something around 130k USD. If want to trade a boat, I would like to get about 10-20k in between (at least). We are not desperate selling or trading. We might sail it across pacific if nothing interesting is coming up.Hoping we get some more paying crew to make our economy better.

Two new rudders will be fitted. The boat is now on the hard and will splash within 14 days I guess.
