And for less than the price of that Lagoon they could get a new SW1160 exfactory and sail it home
Exactly. Which is why we think this boat is overpriced for our needs....

Re: 39-42ft Catamaran -2009 or later

Hi,

I am the owner of Exodus, 2011 Lagoon 400 currently in Fiji, and am currently contemplating bringing the boat to AUS later this month. I have confirmed Exodus would incur a 10% GST upon entry to Australia (estimated at A$35-40k), but not the 5% import duty as it is a US flagged vessel. As I am very motivated to get the boat sold and get back to my family in the States, I'll likely pay the GST and not raise the selling price, currently A$520k.

Cheers,
Tim

You only avoid the 5% duty if the boat is US built.

Hi
We have a lagoon 380 S2 owners version 2010 ( Delivered 2011 Australia new). Second owners. Never chartered and the first owner never seemed to use it ( 250 hours on the engines when we got it last year.) It is in new Zealand , registered and tax paid. Plans were to sail the Pacific but health issues ....
Put on some massive solar and inverters etc . Now thinking about selling it.
it will come in round the mid 450 if you are interested.
Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul
Thanks for the offer, but we are now proud owners of a Lipari 41.
