40ft concrete sailboat

Father has recently passed away and left behind a sailboat that unfortunately there is no time for. My brothers and I are looking for an enthusiastic individual to put some time and care into this boat as it definitely needs work.

40ft ferro cement Samson design ketch rig

Mostly needs cosmetic changes on the hull. Some light surface corrosion. The cabin itself is solid but the inside probably has moisture damage.

Just posting to see if there is any interest. I can provide more details if there is any. Not really looking at making any money off this, just more concerned about getting rid of it to someone who'll put the energy in to make it sail again.

Location : chestertown Maryland

Cheers

Hi.. Welcome to CF.. sad its under such circumstances..
If you post a picture or two on here of the boat I'm sure you'll get interest from a quite a few folk looking to get afloat..
I'd be interested but I'll be sailing to earn my crust for the next few months so lack the time to take her off your hands..
My condolences..

Thank you. We'll be going up to the yard tomorrow and we'll make sure to take pictures and I'll upload them right away.

Karwar:

I'd be interested in taking a look at the boat. How much were you thinking about asking?

I believe you need to make 10 posts before you can upload pics.
