45'to 50' Catamaran Wanted

Trying to find a used Catamaran on the West Coast of the U.S, is becoming very difficult. We have found plenty in the Carib, but it cost's a fortune to have it brought to California/Baja area. If anyone knows of anything please let me know. Thanks

I would think even with the cost of a delivery skipper. That would be a very small percentage of the cost? If it was delivered to Baja that would be at the most 3 weeks. Even now the wait at the ditch is easing up, so maybe less?

I could be mistaken, but it seems it is a dollar, or two per mile for delivery. Did you get more than one quote? That number seems INSANE!

The cost of airfare to the Carib--
Hotel to check out sv---
Time to sail to Panama during hurricane season---
Transit through the Canal---
sail to Ensenada---
Airfare back to place of origin---
Maybe the quote was in pesos? I can see moving a cat from the carib would be expensive.

I wish it was in Pesos, my quotes from the Carib were 70k, and I got a quote for December so that it was after hurricane season. It is Crazy

Teamfshnakd,
For that amount you could fly your friends(crew) to the Carib and sail it back. Even if you had to leave it for a year on the hard on the East Coast of Mexico, it would seem to be cheaper to do it yourself.
