47' deck stepped mast&boom for Union 36 or similar

Replacing wooden stick (rotted out).... looking for good condition mast 47' & boom 16.2' plus or minus a bit. Cutter rig (but have most standing rigging) beam is 11'3" and hopefully located PNW (Vancouver) .... but open to freighting it from NA. Not interested salvaged rig that was underwater nor broken/bent and then spliced....and yes I am aware that sometimes it is even stronger.
Thanks,

how much of the wood mast is rotted--can you feather in some repairs and re-step for economy?? use epoxy and make it sturdy, also.....

Re: 47' deck stepped mast&boom for Union 36 or similar

I wish it could be so....but sadly no. It was too far gone and had rot of various levels all the way up. Many years of maintenance neglect (paint peeled off and left exposed wood (built in mid 70's)) added to the misery as is often the case. As new owner I hope to get her mobile again. Thanks for the thought though would have loved to take a less expensive route (and keeping it original would have been preferable) and it would have helped in leaving my scarce dollars for electonics upgrades...but oh well : ) to sail is the goal!
