ATN TopClimber

I have a gently used "old style" TopClimber that I no longer use. I have been rock climbing for years and have switched to using my rope climbing gear that I am already used to.

This is the previous version of the TopClimber that you have to feed the rope through the ascenders. I never saw that as too big of an issue.

It is in great condition and shows little sign of use.

$250 obo + shipping
It should fit in a flat rate box.

Very interesting! Their website has them listed at $450 on their online order form.

Defender was the cheapest that I saw at $365.

Re: ATN TopClimber

Yes - I hear you. I saw the add a month ago - christmas special - same model you have with closed line grabber - $250. I bought it wondering if it was different from what ATT sells & what West Marine has - It's the same thing.
I think I just got lucky for a change - I like the closed line grabber better than the new one - It's gotta be stronger and safer. I was going to build my own using climbing gear when I found this deal.
I'm sure you will sell it.

I meant aluminum or steel... Since they are black, I think probably, they are not stainless. So I want to compare them with the new style.
I'm following carefully the comments because I'm not sure if I should buy the topclimber or the new and much more expensive ATN mastclimber. The price difference is huge!
