For Sale: Baba 30

This post is to gauge interest in a 1978 Baba 30 lying Southern California. The current owner is selling the boat with a mooring that I covet, but I cannot justify (meaning I cannot convince my wife to) being a two boat owner, so I would need to sell the Baba 30 expeditiously.

I have been aboard the boat and she is in surprisingly good shape. Exterior teak is mostly bare but in reasonably good condition. The boat has a professionally rebuilt diesel engine with less than 100 hrs, new Yankee, new Lewmar ST primary winches, new manual windlass. Alu mast and boom.

There are some small blisters near the bow but nothing even close to being structural. Overall, the boat needs some cosmetic work but appears to be very sound and ready for a caring owner to prepare her for more cruising.

Market value seems to be around USD 40,000. I would need to sell for $30,000 for the deal to be viable for me. Please let me know by PM or post to this site if you might be interested.
