BIG Fire Extinguishers - Very Inexpensive!

I'm nearly done with our re-fit and don't need these in the workshop anymore. These will all extinguisher ANY class B flammable liquid fire (gasoline, diesel, resin, MEK, alcohol, paints, greases, oil) and will knock down a Class A fire (paper, wood, fabric).

These are all professional grade heavy duty units, not the little toys they sell in marine or DIY stores. These are for BIG fires or when you are a million miles from immediate help.

Flag Model CPK-30 cartridge operated 30-lb Purple K fire extinguisher. UL 80-BC rating. USCG / Marine BC IV rating. Very Good condition, fully charged. NO mounting bracket. Excellent for your work shop, marinas, boat yard, fuel dock, rescue boat, fishing boat or a pretty big (40-ft +) long distance cruiser. $50

Ansul Model CR-30-K-E cartridge operated 30-lb Purple K fire extinguisher. UL 120-BC rating. USCG / Marine BC IV rating. Very good condition, fully charged. No mounting bracket. Excellent for your work shop, marinas, boat yard, fuel dock, rescue boat, fishing boat or a pretty big (40-ft +) long distance cruiser. $50

Amerex 2-1/2 gallon stored pressure AFFF foam fire extinguisher. This has the foam nozzle and AFFF concentrate in it, rated 3A:20 BC. Also have a straight tip nozzle for it for use with just water - 2A rating. Can be re-filled at home or onboard by using a 100-psi air compressor. Excellent for your work shop, marinas, boat yard, rescue boat, fishing boat or a pretty big (40-ft +) long distance cruiser. $50

Amerex Heavy Duty Vehicle / USCG approved Marine mounting bracket for 2-1/2 gallon foam unit, 20-lb stored pressure dry chemical, and will hold a 15-lb CO2 extinguisher. It holds the AFFF extinguisher mentioned above. Good condition $25

You can see pictures of them on Craigslist.com, North Carolina, Eastern NC under the heading "Fire Extinguisher".

All of the extinguishers are HEAVY (55-lbs) so should be picked up in person. Buy me a cheeseburger and I can deliver them within 40-miles of New Bern, NC.

Re: BIG Fire Extinguishers - Very Inexpensive!

The AFFF extinguisher has sold but I have another one available.

If you have a lot of resin, MEK, acetone, paint thinner, paint or propane or gasoline for a portable generator in your shop or backyard boat shed, the BIG Purple K extinguishers will get the fire out before you can even call the fire department, much less wait for them to arrive!

I can deliver them - depending on the distance - for gas money, cheeseburgers or Mexican food! I'll be going up to the Annapolis Boat Show so I could meet you there or somewhere off I-95.
