Dear all, now I see there is interest I will take the Bimini out in the garden and make some pictures. I will measure width and length as well as height above deck.

Dimensions:
Width (from hinge point on deck to hinge point) 72'
Height from deck about 60'
I have uploaded pictures that show the full Bimini on my old Bristol 40 as well as the frame.
The height can be easily adjusted by shortening the cloth if needed.
The picture is with the Bimini quite new. It now needs a washing down to get rid of the dust but no damage.

That's Mexico right. Well price is ex-houston no idea about freight but I am afraid because it is a cumbersome package that that is going to be difficult.

Deal with a freight broker that deals with LTL shipments. I had a quote from a national trucking company for an item from New York to Alberta for $1600. freight broker got it here for $725. Actually, $85 sounds like a pretty good deal.

Re: Bimini for 40' Yacht

i need to search the thru mexicali ones next...
the 85 dollar send to me was a 10 dollar fan for my boat and flea drops for bubba...... small and light.

I am afraid that sailing there will take me too long. For the cost of freight I am sure you can have one custom made in Mexico cheaper as much as I would like to sell you this.

Ooops, I had read that wrong. Check with freight brokers, they might be able to help. They will need to know dimensions packed (height, width, length) and weight.

Sometimes we used to do some shipping by Greyhound, which may be an alternative for you.
