Bluewater Boats Ingrid 38 Still For Sale

We still have our Ingrid 38 by Bluewater Boats for sale. We are hoping to sell her early in the season (or just hoping to sell her?) so we can hopefully make an offer on the Jeanneau that we have been watching.
The Jeanneau would fit our family a lot better than the Ingrid although the Ingrid is a fine boat.
We have had some who have seriously been looking her over but so far, no offers so she is still available.
More information along with pictures and videos here:
For Sale: Ingrid 38 Cutter « Seven C's Sailing Web Log
Price is still the same: $31,000 / offer
Thanks

The video links don't work and some pics of the interior and engine might help you.

Hello Clausont,

I have an interest in you Ingrid and am hoping you can take some time to discuss it a bit by email. In in Oakland, and not near enough to drop by for a look. I've been on but not sailed an Ingrid 38 ketch down here but having never sailed a ketch and reticent to get too in love with it. If you can take time to correspond that would really be helpful.

Thanks,
OS

Question: Where is the boat located?
Question: What is the ballast - cement and iron?

Hey Salt,
You may/not know there is an Ingrid 38 ketch in Richmond, if you have an interest.

I don't know if this is hijacking the thread, but if cement is this a huge penalty? I was aboard the on in Richmond last week but nothing was said about the keel by the broker. Can you enlighten please? If this is the wrong place to discuss perhaps you'd pm me.

The Ingrid in the north SF area may be my old boat, Lassiger Wind, which I owned for about 20 years through the 60's and 70's. If it is the same one, she sailed out of Vancouver, BC where I bought her as a project boat, completed the work and sailed her first to Alaska, back down to Vancouver, a couple of circumnavigations of Vancouver Island, years of cruising Desolation Sound and finally a cruise down the San Francisco. I mention this to attest to the Ingrid's seaworthyness and seakindly nature, easily singlehandled or by a couple in any weather. They are unbelievably comfortable below even when a sea is running. Whoever buys her is getting a safe, beautifully designed vessel capable of handling virtually any sea condition.

For those of you who want to discuss Ingrid 38s, please start a new thread. Clausont wants to sell his boat. Not someone elses boat.

They are wonderful boats. Do a search for more information.

kind regards,
