For Sale: Brand new unopened Parasailor 140m^2 Red Vision

It's so new that I haven't even taken possession of it yet

I was in the process to buy a used catamaran and doing a passage just after closing on the boat. In order to acquire the sail in time I had to buy it prior to the boat survey, which revealed more than I could accept so now I have a new sail that I can't use.

I paid $9085. No refunds from parasailor, I attempted to cancel it a few days after making payment. I realize this is my own doing. The parasailor rep is based out of FL but it can be shipped anywhere in the states. I'm also willing to ship it overseas. It's the Red Vision design, 140 meters squared. In this case it was for a ~20,000lb displacement boat with a ~58 ft mast.

The sails are fixed sizes, not cut per boat, so if you're around the same size then it might be appropriate for you. I unfortunately don't have more information than that, you'd have to contact parasailor to get a quote and they'll tell you the recommended size for your boat. I believe the size increments are around 15% 120m^2 vs 140m^2 etc.

I have a question out to Parasailor for whether they'll allow a buyer to make use of their training in FL that is typically included in new purchases (a $1K value). I'll update here when I hear back.

I'd like to lose less than a grand on this transaction, so asking $8K (which assumes the training will still be included). I'll obviously have to go less if that turns out not to be the case. I think that's fair since you get a completely new sail for 11% off, and what's not to like about that?
