For Sale: Caribbean & East Coast USA Cruising Guides

Hello,
We have just completed two years of cruising in the Caribbean and have just about every guide available for the Caribbean, plus South America and many guides for the East Coast of USA.

Now in Shelter Bay Marina in Panama, preparing to transit the Canal next week. Doing some housekeeping and would like to pass on our collection of cruising guides and charts, as they are taking up space and we sadly will probably not be returning to the Caribbean and have decided to head north rather than cruise in South American waters.

If you or someone you know is interested in expanding your cruising guide library, please let me know and I'll provide a list of what we have. Also have 3/4 scale paper charts for the entire Caribbean. The guides are all in great condition and fairly recent editions, purchased in the past two years. Not sure of value, but will be more than fair.

Ideally would like to sell the whole lot to someone either here in the Colon area or early November when we will be at Marina Flamenco for a week.

Clarification... We are currently in Panama. All of the guides and charts are here on the boat, so shipping to the US would be extremely expensive. Was hoping to find someone who was transiting the canal for the Caribbean who could arrange to pick them up at the marina here in Colon. By expensive shipping costs, I would estimate close to $1000 USD to send the 50+ guides and hundreds of charts by air freight...

When I came thru the canal, I stayed at Pedro Migual Boat Club. Chart swapping between boats going East or West was a normal course of events.

If their is still a morning net on VHF and your were to announce that you has a complete set of charts and quides you'd quickly have a bidding war.
