LOL.. I could give you my Harley and Jeep for a down payment, and go down and run the boat in the Porto Bella / San Blas / Cartahana charter runs and make payments..!!!

Other than that I am in the same boat as you.. Between the economy and stocks.. my nest egg has gone south..

Why are you selling it " MUST GO FAST" You have a boat and no use for a dinghy anymore..

I reacted quickly but I am still at loss for my Caribe and new Yamaha Engine I got stolen in Cartagena. I apologize if my post seemed accusatory. I would still like the serial number from the engine please.

PanamaJames,

Thanks for your posting, I would have rather gotten a PM message from you, however here are my replies:

1- This dinghy was personally bought by me along with the engine in Tortola, BVI. I am not under any obligation to public serial numbers however for the sake of clarity here they are:

CARIBE C12 EMD 12269J506
ENGNE YAMAHA 15FMH 68YK1042008

Originally bouth by previos owner at OFFSHORE MARINE, St. Thomas USVI

2. I am selling a 42 feet yacht and since I am not sailing any longer I decided to sell this two items separately.

Hope the above information clarifies this matter

PanamaJames, I find no reason for locals to still dinghys from foreign yachts however if you threated local people as you have threated me here I wouldnt be surprise they would seek for some sort of balancing act, not justifying them but expressing my concern.

I did not threaten you. I have not threatened anyone. I was not accusing you. I said I was sorry for posting quickly. I simply am following up on my theft. You would do the same or just write off a $6000 loss. I am still not ready to write off my loss.

As for you finding no reason for locals to steal dinghies from local yachts. I find that statement to be incredible to say the least.

I don't threaten anyone and how you can take that from my post is mystifying to say the least. Again I am sorry you took it that way. We can drop it or keep it going.
I plan to drop it.

I am just sorry you are not in Cartagena to personally check the dinghy in a police inspection and at the same time explain you accusations. I hope you saw the serials numbers and one last thing, whilst in Panama you still need to worry about your dinghy, dont worry about the Hunter as panamanians know they are popcorn farts.

Have a nice day Sir.

Exactly I reacted quickly and expeditiously and he is still boiling...maybe is the Hunter`s bad motion maybe is just that he thinks he is conquering south america for the second time around...hope he calm down and drink some Cafe Duran in Panama lol

Now this post is turning to the funny side. I am glad the over 80 crowd still have a sense of humor.

Yes I am drinking Duran coffee in my home. Also I am happy with my Hunter. Have a nice day.

I still miss my Caribe and Yamaha that was stolen from me in Cartagena by the locals.

Question You say your Caribe must go fast.. How fast will it go 20, 30, 40 mph. Its better it go fast than slow. lol
