Re: CHARTS

Hi Ben, I still have them. Where are you? I'm in Brunswick ME, near Portland. If you decide to take our charts, I have several others, related but older, that I'll throw in for free. They belonged to Dodge Morgan. MB

Hi Ben, Lunenburg is one of my favorite cruising stops - you have a great museum, as I recall. I tried to figure out online what it would cost to ship the bundle via the post office, and it looks like about $150. What a shame we don't have ferry service between Maine and Nova Scotia anymore. Maybe there's another way, like a freight company? I think the package will weigh about 36 lb, maybe a few more if you want the extra miscellaneous charts. Any ideas?

(Dodge was my fiancé, he sailed around the world alone, without stopping. Before we met - otherwise I would have wanted to go, too!)

Best from MB

Re: CHARTS

MB, FedEx it is, but can we complete this in early June, and do you need a deposit?

I'll see if I can find a commercial shipping address rather than residential? Txs, Ben

Re: CHARTS

Sounds good to me. How about if you send me your contact info, instead of a deposit?

And he was the first sailor from the US to do a solo, non-stop.
