Coolant Pump for CruisAir A/C - 500gph

Hi -
I need to replace the pump on my cruisair AC unit. It is a 500GPH Taylor Made pump. I think I can use any 500 GPH unit. ANyone rebuild these? (the Taylor is runninng it just runs in spurts and doesn't have enough juice to push through the unit). I flushed the unit with fresh water -- so that doesn't seem to be the problem. Would love to find a deal on a new pump . . . my girl won't come to the boat without the a/c . . . but $200+ for a new pump just ain't in the budhget right now. Ya feel me?
TIA.
