CONSTRUCTION & DESIGN:
Corbins are noted for being extremely well built. Builder Marius Corbin
took a time-tested canoe-stern Dufour Yacht design, put Airex coring in
the hull for additional strength, and then tripled and in some cases
quadrupled the hull thickness through the center and keel portions of the
hull. Instead of a hull liner, Corbin used six structural bulkheads which
are laminated on both sides to the hull and deck. This provides structural
stiffness adding to the safety and comfort of your cruising.
Hand laminated 35 layers of 1.5 oz. mat and 24 oz. roving FRP fiberglass
with Airex core. Said to be stronger and lighter than steel, aluminum or
ferro-cement. "As far as impact resistance is concerned, one of our boats
accidentally fell off a semi-trailer traveling at 55 MPH. It suffered no
delamination and no structural damage whatsoever, only scratches to the
gelcoat." - Marius Corbin.

VESSEL WALKTHROUGH:
Starting forward is the double berth cabin. There is a fixed offset double
berth to starboard and to port is an upholstered settee. There is a
storage locker above the settee and shelving beneath the double berth. Aft
of the forward cabin to port is a large hanging locker and aft to
starboard is the head unit. Comfortable and roomy, the aft cabin contains
a double berth, plenty of storage space, Hanging locker and lots of
natural light. The head unit has a sink and vanity unit and shower. There
are storage lockers both above and below the sink.
Next aft is the galley down. To port is the 3 burner stove and worktop
space. There are two storage drawers below the worktop area and storage
units above to out board. To starboard in the galley ante the twin
stainless steel sinks forward and refrigeration units to outboard.
The is ample storage space with cupboards both above and bellow the units.
Next aft up to port is the dinette in pilothouse. There are two facing
upholstered settees with teak dining table which can be raised to create
an addition double berth. There is storage beneath the settees and
shelving units to outboard.

are shelving units and navigation equipment above the large chart table to

REMARKS:
Here is a rare offering! A center cockpit pilothouse version Corbin
39`ketch! She is very nicely finished and shows good overall maintenance
over the years.
Thanks to her hull design and to her serious building in composite Airex
Fiberglass, she is trully a small yacht fo sailing offshore safely and
comfortably, easy to handle in any weather conditions. She has a new
generator and water heater and also rebuilt water and fuel tanks and
hydraulic system so her main systems are very good and she needs only
minor cosmetics to make her truly fabulous! If you are seeking a strong,
safe and seaworthy design with maximum accommodations in the under 40`size
range, there is no better choice out there than this model Corbin.
She is an "Edition Speciale" with a bowsprit added and the mast moved
forward (to reduce weather helm).
Legendary for their strenght and well proven with many circumnavigations
and major voyages to their credit, this is a truly timeless design!

Here are some words of the owner about his yacht: “The Corbin hull I
currently speak about has been built in 1985, and from 1998 till 2006 was
stored in the yard, out of water. She has been finished according to my
wishes in nov/2011. My dream began in 2007 when I bought this fabulous
boat in BVI. I had sail all over Windward and Leewards islands on
Caribbean Sea, and after 2 yrs I decided to get her out of the water to
finish the refit that i could end up last year. Since 2009, she has been
maintained yearly and stored out of the water, and is being used by myself
approx. one month per year."
“Cruising World” magazine said: That is the “Corbin 39`, stated as the
best in its category «top offshore cruising sailboat».

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Andy.

Did you intend your thread title to say "accepting offers"?
