Re: CREALOCK 37 - OCEAN READY

Having some problems uploading photos, not a problem, they are on yacht world, where the boat is incorrectly named Deliverence, not Deliverance. Currently located in the Caribbean, in a couple of months she will return to the states. So, what is so different about Deliverance to the others (not many) on the market... Firstly she has a hard top for ocean sailing, of which she is proven. Of course she has all the toys, radar, ais, wind pilot, radar detector, gps, 12volt computer/chart plotter, water maker (spectra), 3 burner force ten stove, ssb, cruising chute, wind and solar power, tow generator (need I go on!), 12volt outlets, 110 outlets, 220 transformer. New this season are hatches and a new lofrans windlass, in the next couple of weeks we will haul and antifoul, as usual with micron 66. Hope to be able to upload photos soon....

I guess with that attitude I shouldn't be surprised that you didn't answer my email when you, through your broker, suggested I contact you regarding the option of sailing the boat to OZ and I sent you an email extensively analysing the issues you would face selling in Australia.

Good luck with the sale although I suspect you really don't want it and would prefer to keep your boat, which is, of course, your choice.

Re: CREALOCK 37 - OCEAN READY

Hi James

Hopefully by now you will have received our email regarding delivery to oz and the costs. if not here goes... Deliverance can be yours for 150,000usd including delivery but minus the panama canal fees. The other crealock 37 in oz works out at 173,000usd. Taking into account your taxes etc this makes them comparable boats, the only differences being, one is there already and the other has a few more ocean, long term cruising items. We are more than happy to deliver her to Australia. Either way good luck and happy sailing.

Nice boat, but IMHO the hardtop does nothing for it.
It says home made, and implies the same thing about maintenance on the boat.

Re: CREALOCK 37 - OCEAN READY

Thanks I did get the email and replied. I don't think the boat is for me for the reasons I outlined. Anyway good luck.

Olaf - I agree that the hard top doesn't have do much and I asked whether it was removable at all. Not sure how that translates into general maintenance though. The owner had a go at making what can be a big ticket item, not pretty but I think it would be functional.

Good luck with the sale
