Want To Buy: Cruising boat wanted

Hi All
We are looking for a suitable cruising yacht.
The boat needs to be a proper blue water capable boat .
Needs to be able to carry a crew of three.
Looking at anything between 36 and 42 feet .
The boat needs to have good performance as well
I like the v d Stadt,s in steel , the Seal 36 for instance.
Pretorien 35 is another boat I like the look of.
Open to suggestions
Our budget is up to £35000.00 for right boat
We are UK based at the moment , bug would consider boats anywhere in Europe as well.
We would look at project boats as well.
Let me know what you have , any opinions on boats most welcome as well

Would you be interested in a Hans Christian 43 in Queensland, Australia. It has been cruised in SE Asia, and been maintained by a pilot (read particular about such things) friend of ours.

Obviously it is a "crab crusher", so understand if you lack interest in it either due to its location or its basic nature....

I have a CS Merlin 36, a very capable Canadian-built cruising boat. I bought her fairly recently but have already decided to move up to something bigger as more family members have got the bug and wish to join the venture. She's in the BVI. £30K for a very quick sale.

Perhaps the first thing to consider in a proper cruising boat is what is considered proper.Some consider proper cruising boats to be heavy traditional full keeled boats, others prefer a proper cruising boat to be a fast fin keeled boat which is more responsive and lively to outsail bad weather, it also depends on your budget in our 30 plus years of cruising we have had full and fin keel boats ultra heavy and lighter fin keeled, and had great success with all, the proper boat is the on which is well maintained and gets you out there

Thanks for all the replies.
At this stage ,I will confine my search to the UK and Europe.
The original post has a few examples of what I consider to be proper cruising boats .
The boat would need to be quite quick , but sea worthy .
A lot of the modern charter caravans are not sea worthy in my opinion , fine for fair weather coastal sailing and flotilla work etc , not good ah looking after themselves in heavy weather off shore.
