I'm interested. My only concern is the mounting, as presumably it is very specific to the design of ones transom. Any ideas on overcoming this particular obstacle?

Transom mount don't know what your boat is but should work out if its not a canoe transom? This is new and has all the parts with it. To include extra.

Definitelyme,

The Fleming vane can be installed on any transom,. They come with ttansom fittings and all you have to do is buy tubing to fit your length measurments to keep the installation horizontal...

I have one on my Formosa with a reverse transom, and a friend of mine has on on his Hans Christian that is a double ender.

Thanks Richard. I presume then that they don't come with a selection of tubing to fit common transom geometries? Mine should be fairly simple (you can kind of see it in the picture) but I'm based in Bermuda, where finding such innocuous things as bits of stainless tubing can turn into epic misadventures. Pretty much everything has to be special-ordered.

I got u. If u want there is a place here in the US that sells cut to measure tubings. I can find out if they ship to Bermuda, that is if you want. They ae speedymetals.com. I used them and was happy with them.

Worst case, im passing by Bermuda next June...i can bring them. Haha.
