We are selling our very beautiful and very seaworthy ship SY Alaya, a Formosa 51 Ketch.

Unfortunately health fails us to realize our great dreams.

A car accident has ensured that our big dream to make a long journey can not be made.......... We already have Alaya prepared and renewed to leave for great, large and long voyages, or to live on board as we do now for 6 years on our lovely Alaya.

Allthough we made the decision to sell her, it is with great pain in our hearts!!

So, we are searching for a new owner for her..............

Refitted between 2008 - 2013: teak deck, new equipment, batteries, inverter / charger, stoves, kitchen, bathroom, etc.

The bowsprit is equipped Iroco. Teak rubbing strake with stainless steel strip.

-The shower in aft cabin was renovated in 2008.
-The walls and ceilings in the galley, salon, dekhouse, aft cabin (ceiling and bathroom) in 2011/2012 insulated and equipped with new ceiling tiles with new LED lighting.
