A posting for this radio on a sailing/cruising website seemed "fishy" to me....and it's the first post (and as of now, the only post) from a newly registered user....even "fishier"!!!

So, FYI, a heads up to everyone here....

1) The IC-775 is a 120vac radio, and will NOT run on 12 volts DC....
