Gimballed propane stove, one burner

Forespar Mini Galley or Force 10 Sea Cook

They both appear to be out of production.

You might be able to find a used Atom kerosene stove. Parts are still available from James Baldwin.

LOL.....

Thanks for that. We have kerosene stoves already. My wife just ants something to heat up some water without lighting the stove.

I don't get it either, but if it makes her happy I love it.

Re: Gimballed propane stove, one burner

Had a Forespar mini galley and it worked well in port. The attachment to the bulkhead was suspect, however. Very easily bent and could see ripping it off or seriously deforming it if accidentally grabbed or bumped into. Sold it and bought a kerosene SeaSwing which is hell for stout. Ripped it off the bulkhead when thrown into it by an unexpected wave. Just screwed it back onto the bulkhead and continued using it. Believe there is a propane burner that can be used with the SeaSwing if you don't want Kero.

Re: Gimballed propane stove, one burner

Thought I would share my solution with you all.

I bought a Sea Swing without the kerosene stove. We have a regular kero stove and wanted something different for this application.

Then got a little oli amp stove which, on a small canister, fit perfectly.

Kinetic Ultra Titanium Stove — Olicamp

But I was concerned that the lack of weight/ballast (kero stove weighs a bit) would make it tippy. As it were I had some sheet lead (well, old lead pipe I sliced and beat flat) around so I cut it with a big hole saw, a couple of pounds with, and using some fender washers attached it to the stove.

I think I've got it!

Re: Gimballed propane stove, one burner

Where did you find your Sea Swing. I can't seem to find any, except on ebay and they aren't nearly as nice looking as yours.
