Headsail furler wanter.

I'm still trying to find a headsail furler, preferably Harken or Pro-furl - older style okay. 40' between pins. Suitable for my own 5/16" or 3/8" wire.

Re: Headsail furler wanter.

I have a Selden Furlex 200S. It may be a little shorter than what you are looking for. A rough measurement of everything shows 38-39 ft. The sail that I am selling with the furler has a luff of 35ft with a foot of 18ft. Except for some light staining the sail is excellent. Both were purchased by the previous owner of my boat and had very little use. I prefer the old hank on technology (most of the time). Located in Beaufort, NC.

Re: Headsail furler wanter.

Hi Canvasman,
Thanks for your reply. ‘Fraid it won’t suit though if it’s not at least 40’ from pin to pin, or longer—so I can cut one down. It is to fit on my inner forestay which has an 11’ long staysail boom.
When I get a furler I will have a new sail made. So I don’t need a sail with a furler.
