Relationship-savers! I have a pair, and they have been HUGELY helpful, especially when struggling to recover 300 feet of chain with a blown windlass clutch in a gale on a lee shore. Must-have items.

We have a set also, and what few times we've used them they have been great. I tied a lanyard around them that would go over my head, just in case they fell off while using them.

Good idea on the lanyard... they don't stay on well while hunkered over the anchor locker. I'll do that.

LOL...my wife wants us to get a pair. We liveaboard and are at the point we have decided nothing can be held against you for things said while docking or anchoring.
