That is correct........I called Hood and they don't make them anymore. This is just the furler and swivel.

Maybe another hood extrusion of 1.25 diameter would work. Or any extrusion from another manufacturer. I just bought some 1.25" hood extrusions for a 707sl $124 a piece. The new complete unit is $1047 w/ 6 extrusions. How firm is the price? With a little machining it could be made to work, but the extrusions alone would be expensive driving down what your bare furler is worth. So whats the good guy price?

That sounds about right on Hood's price for the extrusions. I am willing to come down a little in price......the units are pristine.

Unless your really really flexible it's pointless to not buy new. If the 1.25" ex's that hood has would fit hassle free it's odd they didn't tell you that. I'm looking for a hood in particular, as I have 2 already.
