Is it programmed to transmit on both Ham & Marine Frequencies? and ready to be connected to Pactor Modem and Weatherfax?
Thanks

Unfortunately, I do not know. I bought the radio second hand and after calling ICom with the serial number, they were not able to tell me if the radio was opened for ham frequencies.

Regarding the Pactor modem, I have never used one so I'm not sure what is involved with those. I'm assuming you just connect to the serial port on the back of the radio.

The Icom does have serial port. You would have to use a simple $5 converter to use it with a USB equipped computer.

Re: Icom IC-M700PRO $699 Shipped

Hi
Is it still for sale and also what does the words Pro mean? Is it for fishing or commercial frequencies onoly as I checked out an HF pro radio before and it was locked into fishing channels not useable by recreational guys?

If suitable how much are you asking for it and can it be used with a pactor modem (assuming I find a tuner for it)?
