Jandd Large Mountain Panniers

Only a few months old. In great condition. These panniers are built like a tank. Great for groceries or those West Marine trips. I'm no the hook now, and had to downgrade to one of the little clown bikes, and these things are just too big for it.

Sell for $200 new...asking $120

Specifications:
Volume: 3500/ 6800 ci 56/ 109 ltr (pair)
Dimensions: 16 x 13 x 6 (in) 41 x 33 x 15 (cm)(per side)
Storm Sleeve: 10.5 in/ 27 cm
Weight: 83.5 oz/ 2.36 kg
Material: Dupont Cordura®

For what it may be worth... I have a set of these that are about 15 years old and are in continuous heavy use. Still in good shape for all of that. I'd be interested in replacing with same if only I needed to. A great product.

My last set was 10 years old, and still in good shape. I only got these, because one was stolen. Really bummed that they won't fit.

I'd be interested in these if I knew how they might fit on my bike rack. Do you have a photo or site I can access?
PM me with any information please.
regards,

Wow! What do you know.
Are these instructions detailed enough for you?
That page puts the manual that came with them to shame.

No longer available. After talking to Jandd, I'm going to try modifying them to fit the smaller rack. That way I'm not downgrading to a smaller bag at a loss. And I'll still have them, if I become a land lubber and get a real bike again.

Sorry.

First time I tried them, there was just no way they were fitting.

In the end, I didn't even have to modify them. By hooking the lower hook on the frame of the bike instead of the bottom of the rack (takes a little wrestling), but they just fit.

Good news...for you! Bad news for me. If you're still interested, I've decided to sell them once and for all.

When I took the bike for that first spin, my heels were hitting them on every stroke. In order to get the clearance I need, I'd have to drill new holes for the hooks, and move them so far back that half the pannier would be hanging off the back of the rack. Looks like I'm going to have to downgrade to little bags for the little bike.

I can provide new photos if you want. Already deleted them, because I was convinced they would work.
