The unit is pickled by the factory but it does not last forever.
Usually to preserve the menbrane the unit should be pickled every 6 months+\_

He seems to have a monitor windvane or katadyn for sale once a year. Maybe he'll let us in on where he's picking them up cheap (I assume)
