I will take them if you will ship them at my expense, least expensive method. I will use Pay Pal Gift so no fees to you. gts1544 - George

Should GTS not want to take these self-tailing winches--I will provide them a good home.

I promise to keep them well maintained, give them lots of fresh air, salt water spray and fresh water rinses.

Same terms shipped at my expense.

Are you guys sure? To be clear, these are Lewmar 44 vintage 1983, before self tailing was invented. they are about 25 lbs each. I have no idea what the shipping cost would be but ill bet its not cheap.

If both of the others fall through, I'll happily adopt them.

Thanks!

Anduril, I understand about the shipping concern and appreciate your heads up, but would still like to have the winches. I am in no hurry for them and would like them shipped to a friend's house in Hampstead, NC, where my boat is based. PM sent with contact info. gts1544 - George

A lot of amateur boats have them mounted to assist pulling craypots (Lobsters) around our coast. (South Australia)

Re: lewmar 44 winches to a good home

To all , first come first served, GTS1544 has received my old winches. I hope he is not disappointed.

I just did not want to dump them in the metal bin at the landfill.
