The raft is located in Annanadale, VA. I don't think age is a problem. I just bought a 1998, 8 man life raft that is in certification as I am doing a long passage with 5 or 6 crew. Hard to explain a 4 man raft to 6 people! This raft is great for acouple or small family. Easy to store and deploy if ever needed.

16 pounds? what sort of raft is it? must be inshore no flares , which would be out of date.

Just an FYI. Shipping is a bitch. The CO2/N2 bottle and flares are hazardous material and it has to go through hell to get $hipped.

Update: This link will take you to the current model $1495. I have now listed this on EBAY so if you are interested view it on EBAY under Life Rafts. Reserve on it is $595. This is not a bad raft for a couple doing near coastal sailing or even the Bahama's as it is easy for one person to muscle up on deck and launch. It could also be suitable for a delivery captain.
