LiFePo4 House Bank Using SmartHousePower BMS

If anyone in Tampa Bay area is interested in 200AH house bank made of Lithium Iron Phosphate cells, I am selling the unit shown in this thread http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...bms-40389.html

Here is the picture of the unit, its a drop-in replacement for 12V Lead Acid housebank. Just connect 2 terminals and optional controls, like remote buzzer, alternator field control, etc.

This is a unique opportunity to get LFP housebank at half the price of competitive systems like Genasun.

The price is $2100 including delivery to any Tampa Bay marina, installation consulting and support.

Keep in mind that LFP battery delivers almost twice the energy compared with same size Lead Acid battery due to lack of Puekert losses, and it has 5-10 times life cycles compared to Lead Acid battery. This unit is expected to run for 5-7 years of daily use, or even longer intermittent use.

Please PM me for direct contact information.

Thanks

As promised, here is the BMS-in-a-box unit that is used to manage a 12V house bank made of LFP cells. Bank size can be between 100AH-400AH.

There is a Tyco EV200 contactor inside, which limits continuous current to 500Amp and bursts of 2000Amp. Keep that in mind when planning your LFP system size.

The price is $500 , PM me for details.

Also, since I apparently overestimated market demand for LFP drop-in box, I just want to recover my cost without any profit, so I am offering above 200AH bank with builtin BMS for $1900.

Here is the pic of BMS-in-a-box:

So, apparently no one is interested in 200AH LFP house bank. Related discussion thread is a million pages long, but no one puts their money where their mouth is

If anyone local to Tampa Bay area is interested in drop-in 200AH LFP bank, please make me an offer.

Electric1,

Since no one has as yet responded to your offer let me take this opportunity to thank you for the work you put into this product. I know that you are very interested in moving along this technology for the betterment of cruising. The fact that you are looking for someone in the Tampa Bay area greatly limits the number of people that might be interested. Then there is the cost of this unit. It is a lot of money for a one-off item without a warranty. However, I believe that if one "keeps a positive mental attitude and maintains an even strain" anything is possible. So, the best of luck to you and again thanks.

Paul

I thought your OP said a 200AH house bank for.... $2100. That, at least to me, seems a bit high.

Electric1;

Do you still have the BMS in a box for sale? I am interested in that.
