"DSB Self-righting ISAF Life Raft -- In large scale comparative tests by the magazine YACHT (issue 14/2001) life rafts from various manufacturers were subjected to stringent testing in the Maritime Training Center on the MAAS, the experts judgments speaks for itself. A quality and well constructed life raft for long journeys. Higher valuation due to the self-righting construction, plenty of room inside and a good entry system." Results: five out of five possible stars. The canopy construction is unique worldwide. The two canopy arch support tubes automatically turn the raft into an upright position. The arches also allow headroom for all occupants, an ISAF requirement."

The raft was purchased for $3200 in Oct. 2006 for offshore sailing, and thankfully, never launched. It is due for a 5 year inspection & repackaging, which was quoted by LRSE at $850.
