Like New DAVIS Mark 25 Beam Converger Sextant with padded storage case. The Mark 25 is the top of the line Davis sextant. It features a "full horizon mirror" replacing the conventional 1/2 silvered horizon mirror. An additional feature is the LED night illuminated scale, usually only found on much higher end sextants. Includes new batteries. This sextant has two 3X telescopes and a 1X viewer.

This sextant looks brand new, no cracks, marks or defects. The case looks new. Also included in this package are two sight reduction books, the sextant manual, “The Guide to Celestial Navigation” by Cunliffe, an artificial horizon (practice at home), and Universe Skywheels (to identify stars).

what years are the SR tables?

The Sight Reduction Tables are Pub 249, Volumes 2 and 3. They are permanent publications and are time independent -- They cover Latitudes 0-89 degrees and Declinations from 0 - 29 degrees. There are great computer programs that will do the math for you.

BTW, a smart offshore cruiser will store his GPS and small electronics away from potential EMF pulses during heavy lightning -- don't forget they're in your oven

I already have a 25 and was looking for a spare. I have air pub249 but they were epoch 95, I have vol I and II.
would you go for 150 without the sr tables that way it will be cheaoer on the shipping for you?
