looking for a cruiser

Hi.
I am looking for a world cruiser for me and my girlfriend, we are from Sweden.
I am looking to buy a steel cruiser, maybe other alternatives can be interesting.

I think optimal size i close to 36 ft, but everything between 30 to 40 ft is interesting.
And the price depends on a lot of stuff, like equipment and condition of the boat, but somewhere close to 40-50k usd. Might go little bit higher for the right boat.

Things that i like on a boat is (wish list):
cutter rig
water maker
easy to handle bad weather
well maintained
standing height over 186cm
heater
SSB radio
radar/vhf/log/sounder etc...
big tanks water/diesel

Cheers /Benny

Re: looking for a cruiser

Hi

I dont know if you are interested but I have a Hallberg Rassy Rasmus (ketch for easy sail handling) she has 290ltr fuel & water, radar etc have a look at it below (HR Ketch for sale) it does not have a water maker or SSB but the asking price is negotiable and could allow you to install new rather than buy old, she also has Air Conditioning for the warmer areas. Happy Hunting

Re: looking for a cruiser

Rasmus are nice boats, but I can't stand up in them.
If I going to buy a boat that I can't stand in, I will go for a smaller boat.

Or do you have a diffrent standing hight in side?

Cheers /Benny

Re: looking for a cruiser

I am not near the boat at present so I can't confirm the head hight. I am fairly certain it is around 1.950m.
We have had some fairly tall guests onboard and I can't ever remember anyone commenting on it.
