Looking for a Loos PT-3 tension gauge. Boat in Florida right now.

As a rigger, I have to ask why you would ever want one of these for cruising???

Well didn't mean to hijack your thread. My point was this is most certainly something that is not needed to tune the rig on a boat like yours. The money would be much better spent hiring someone to help you get it properly tuned. Tension gauges are only needed for when you're trying to replicate setting for various wind strengths on racing boats and on some ultra high performance cruisers.

Boatguy30, thanks for pointing that to me! Would probably be useful to have a rigger take a look at my rig. Never hired one before so certainly a good investment.

I thought of the Loos to see if I was in the ballpark regarding tension. To have a reference point, sort of.
