Re: Manson Supreme and Vecta 2

I am interested in the anchor and will buy it as long as the shipping to Lewiston NY is reasonable. Can you tell me where the anchor is located and if it can be shipped?

Thanks

If the other two posters don't pan out and you are in Florida we would take the Manson. PM me if that works,

I think I was the first to offer to purchase, but I haven't heard anything from him in the last two days. He must be traveling for the holidays.

My Manson Supreme is eight years old, used extensively as we don't go into marinas and the label is still on it. I often wonder what kind of glue they use for the labels as it must be the stickiest in the world.

The best Fletch, it has yet to fail me. You ready to head south?

Notice you have the Manson and a claw, the same combination we use....

...on our Mac (25 lb. & 22 lb.). We bought a 35 lb. Manson for the Endeavour before we even closed the deal. At the time WM only had one in Florida and we took it.

I love the Manson, but we had the claw first on the Mac and it never let us down (never drug) in the west with a lot of rock bottomed lakes or in Florida. When we went to Florida we bought the Manson and started using it as the primary anchor. Anchored also with both a number of times on a Bahamian moor and with 2 anchors off the bow at an angle to each other.

We also have a 35 lb. CQR that came with the Endeavour. We are considering selling it and getting either a 45 lb Manson or a 44 lb. claw to backup the 35 lb. Manson. The claw of course is a lot less money.

So how do you like your claw in relation to the Manson? A good combo or would you rather have 2 Manson's? The boat will be used mainly in Florida and possibly the Bahamas and the east coast up to Long Island Sound.

Thanks,

Sum
